Purple Cane is a 20 something year old tea company/house, that seeks to tap into the enormous market of China.
Their aim was to rebrand the logo to make it appeal to the youth of China, and along the way compete with the likes of Starbucks.
The use of Chinese typography is something different in the aspects of accessibility as well as a more complex level of readability.
